In 1993, I spent a month at the Karma Triyana Dharmachakra (KTD), which is a Buddhist monastery up a mountain top in Woodstock, NY. At that time Tinley Chojor, the master architectural painter, was finishing up painting the main shrine room. I had previously asked him to help with his painting, and he had accepted me. Thus, I spent a lot of time in the main shrine room of the temple, which has a wonderful energy. I do not ascribe this to the Buddhist practices, but to the earth energy vortex upon which the monastery has been built. I found out much later that a major ley line runs straight through the temple. Not a coincidence, but the upper echelon of the Buddhist hierarchy knows all about earth power spots and how to manipulate these.
On the very first day I was there, when going to bed, I had a unique encounter with earth spirit beings. It just so happened that I was the only one in the bedroom, which had about six to eight bunk beds. I began drifting asleep, but was still awake in a state between waking and dreaming. My consciousness had shifted to a more subtle level of awareness, and I saw a group of about thirty small earth beings riding up from the earth and moving towards me. They were small, the size of a hand, and their form was rather primitive. There was no feeling of them being either benevolent or malevolent. Because I was aware of the situation and also because I was rather curious, I let them approach. They began to eat my body, bite by bite, on their own slow pace. I was aware that there was an intention behind their action, and thus I let them finish. Then I felt a feeling of approval come from them, like I had passed a test, and now I was worthy to stay on their territory. They left and I fell asleep.
It was actually a nice experience, and I feel they are part of the subtle life forms that inhabit this earth power place. I also think that they aren’t too happy about those controlling humans who built a stone structure on their home and use the earth’s energy for their own purposes.
