Giants seem to be some fairy-like creatures that you only find in children’s books or movies. The existence of giants is denied by orthodox scientists. However, there are plenty reports of giant skeletons found all over the world, collected by museums and disappeared into their basements. In a little museum in Winnemucca, Utah, you can still see some giants skulls…if you ask for it.
I have collected a number of these reports (only of skeletons larger than 10 feet) in my article of Giant Skulls and Skeletons. I just found a new report of old newspaper article from 1919 of a 12 foot long body. Not only was this a really tall man, but he seemed to be well-preserved, as the article does not use the term ‘skeleton’ but body. He seemed to have been killed as he was found with a wooden peg through his heart. This is not surprising because the Native Indians have always said that they killed the giants who were living and causing destruction in their neighborhood.
Just imagine that there are people around that are twice your size! And, you have to fight them; they are probably twice your strength if not more. Imagine how much food they need.
Giants, who were actually just very tall people, were not just myths. They existed all over the planet, up to a couple of centuries ago. Where did they come from, or how did they become so large?
Here is the article from the newspaper of The Washburn leader (Washburn, McLean County, N.D.), September 12, 1919, front page:
Prehistoric Giant Found
Petrified Body of Man, 12 Feet Tall Found in Michigan
Jackson, Mich.,—What is thought to be the body of a prehistoric man, 12 feet tall, was found while excavating here today. The body, it is said by physicians who examined it, is perfect in every way even to the hair on the head and the teeth, which show no decay. Through the left side of the petrified body, even through the heart is driven a wooden peg. It is said to be the only specimen of its kind ever found in this section of the country, although several specimens are claimed to have been discovered in the extreme west.
The Native tribes of the American Plains in the late 1800s were the tallest people in the world. The average adult male Plains Indian stood 172.6 centimeters tall, or about 5 feet 8 inches (source). In the picture below, if we take the Native Indian on the left as being 5’8” tall, than a 12 foot large man would be the person on the right. That gives you an idea what you would encounter. Quite impressive but also intimidating.
