The little being was found in a ghost town called La Noria (in the Atacama desert region), which was once a boom town of the nitrate industry that flourished in this region prior to World War One, when the Germans invented synthetic nitrate. A local man from the pampa, Oscar Muñoz, had the hobby of collecting tokens, bottles, buttons, plates and other objects of value in the ghost towns from the nitrate era, which he then was selling in the Plaza de Armas of Iquique. On October 19, 2003, Muñoz went specifically to a ghost town called La Noria, located 56 KM to the interior of the provincial capital of Iquique.
As Muñoz dug in the area around La Noria’s abandoned church, he came across a burlap cloth tied by a violet ribbon, finding inside a strange skeleton no bigger than 15 cm [the size of a pen]. It was a creature with hard teeth, a bulging head with an additional odd bulge on top. Its body was scaly and of dark color. He threw the burlap and then wrapped it in paper. A first picture was taken of the find by his friends.
Muñoz sold it to a local businessman, who owns a pub in Iquique for 30,000 pesos (about $64). He charged money for taking pictures of the creature.
Ramón Navia-Osorio, who runs a UFO organization called the IIEE (Institute for Exobiological Investigation and Study) in Spain had heard of the find, and traveled to Chili. He met with Raul Nunez Galvez, who was the head of the IISS in Chile. They both went to La Moria, and talked to the man who found the creature. Ramón Navia-Osorio also went to the businessmen who had the creature in his possession and bought it from him for an undisclosed amount. He took the creature with him to Spain.
On July 5, 2004, the creature was presented to the Royal Academy of Sciences in Barcelona, where it was examined by several doctors, biologists and zoologists. They declared that it was an authentic biological being, but opinions about what it was, were divided.
X-ray examination showed that the being had a disproportional large skull (in relation to the size of the body), slightly differently shaped fingers, a fracture of one side of the skull and one in the upper arm, a slightly longer cervical spine, but for the rest very human-like. One doctor considered it to be human fetus of about 15 weeks old, and that the mummified body itself was probably several hundreds years old. An orthopedic specialist (specialist of the musculoskeletal system) said that it was not human. Several medical specialists did not want to express their opinion because of their fear of losing their reputation.
It is intriguing that, although it has very human-like characteristics, its size, and very unusual skull are similar to the Kyshtym being, see below.
Steven Greer’s Examination of the Body
In 2009 Dr. Steven Greer, being at the Symposium at Barcelona, Spain, was invited by those who had the mummy in their possession, to examine the being. In the summer of 2012, Ramón Navia-Osorio Villar, President of Instituto de Investigaciones y Estudios Exobiológicos allowed dr. Greer to perform scientific tests on the humanoid.
Two doctors at the Stanford University School of Medicine (at Stanford, California) assisted Greer in examining the creature properly. The advantage of the body was that it was very desiccated but very well preserved. It is 13 cm, or 6″, tall.
The CAT scan clearly shows internal chest organs (lungs and what appears to be the remains of a heart structure).
Humans have 12 pairs of ribs, this creature only has ten pairs of ribs.
Proportional to the body, its skull is much larger, and higher up than that of a human.
The bones are well developed and not those of a fetus.
The jaw has a mature tooth.
It has a fracture in the right upper arm and at the right side of the skull, most likely an injury that lead to its death.
When compared to humans, its epiphyseal plates in the knees show that this creature was about 6 to 8 years old. Remember it is only 6″ tall. So it cannot be a human dwarf; any other human genetic defect or deformity has also been ruled out.
Only preliminary DNA tests have been done, and these show that, genetically, the mother of this being was a native indian of the west coast of South America, and that the being itself was male. So far, no DNA mutations in its genes have been found that would account for it small size, dwarfism or any other known defects.
It is important to understand that although this being has many human characteristics, it was extremely small, and was alive, breathing and eating, and living a live for at least several years on this planet.

The following selection of pictures are from the Sirius Disclosure website. On that website are many pictures and at a much higher resolution, showing all the fine details of the mummy. Thanks to Steven Greer for taking very high resolution pictures!
These two kind of beings are not exactly the same, but seem to have a lot of similarities.
Raul Núñez, head of the Chilean UFO organization IIEE, writes that:
“In Chile, according to residents of the communities of Chusmiza, Poroma and several places within the nation’s 1st region, the existence of a race of diminutive bipeds has been known and discussed in hushed tones for generations. These entities measure some 15 to 17 centimeters tall and are the inhabitants of an underground realm that exists beneath the sands of the Atacama Desert. They are known to local elders as “the gentiles”
“According to the Aymara Culture, anything that comes from the sky is divine and anything that comes from below is evil. This belief has prompted people from the country’s interior to avoid contact with these diminutive beings, of which they have often been wary. It is said that throughout the ages, locals have run into these “gentiles” particularly on nights of full moon, as these underground residents cannot withstand sunlight, which causes their death. Their large almond-shaped eyes are only suited for night vision.
“Based on comments made by local elders, these diminutive beings were in contact with the ancient Incas and informed them of places where gold seams could be found, and this was the secret that allowed that lost empire to manage such huge quantities of the precious metal. The elders also recall that when trouble arose among the peasants, the “gentiles” would punish planters by harming their crops from below, leaving them desiccated from one day to another. It is not unusual to come across very elderly people in regions bordering Bolivia who are still afraid of these “gentiles” – moreover, long-time residents of the locality of Poroma claimed knowledge of an old mudstone citadel somewhere in the hills, far from the town, which had been abandoned for a very long time but in a perfect state of conservation, attributed to the diminutive “gentiles”.”
