Paintings on canvas and paper by the Hungarian shaman Joska Soos, depicting light-sound beings, as directly perceived by his inner vision.

Joska Soos was also interested in Buddhism.

On this page are a couple of paintings and drawings of Tara, and of Buddhist llama’s. The first two are Tara paintings from a series of twelve Tara’s, according to the twelve colors. Joska Soos explained that there are twelve Tara’s according to the twelve colors. The twelve colors are: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, black, white, silver, gold and rainbow.

Tara is a female Bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism who appears as a female Buddha in Vajrayana Buddhism. She is known as the “mother of liberation”, and represents the virtues of success in work and achievements.

He had also visions of Christ or Christ-like beings.
